ولادة الإمام محمد بن علي الجواد (ع)
Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, also known as al-Taqi, was the ninth Imam of the Ahl al-Bayt and a descendant of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. Born in 811, in Medina, he was the son of Imam Ali al-Rida and his mother was called Sabika. Despite his young age, Imam al-Jawad was known for his exceptional wisdom, knowledge, and piety.
الإمام محمد الجواد، يعرف أيضًا بالتقي، كان الإمام التاسع من أئمة أهل البيت وسليل النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وآله. وُلد في ٨١١ في المدينة المنورة، وكان ابن الإمام علي الرضا وأمه تدعى سبيكة. رغم صغر سنه، عُرف الإمام الجواد بحكمته الاستثنائية ومعرفته وتقواه.
He became Imam at the age of seven following his father’s martyrdom in 818. During his Imamate, he faced significant challenges, including political pressures from the Abbasid rulers. Despite these challenges, he continued to guide the Shia community through a network of representatives.

Imam al-Jawad’s teachings focused on Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and ethics. He is credited with numerous traditions and theological treatises, and his extensive correspondence with his followers on questions of Islamic law has been preserved in Shia sources. He is remembered for his generosity, piety, and steadfastness in the face of adversity.
ركزت تعاليم الإمام الجواد على الفقه الإسلامي والعقيدة والأخلاق. وقد روي عنه العديد من الأحاديث والمصنفات الكلامية ، وتم الحفاظ على مراسلاته الواسعة مع أتباعه حول مسائل القانون الإسلامي في المصادر الشيعية. يُذكر بسخائه وتقواه وثباته في وجه الشدائد
Imam al-Jawad was martyred in, 835, in Baghdad, under suspicious circumstances, with most Shia sources attributing his death to poisoning by the Abbasid ruler al-Mu’tasim. His shrine is located in Kadhimiya, Iraq, and he is revered by Muslims for his contributions to Islamic scholarship and his exemplary character.
استُشهد الإمام الجواد في ٨٣٥ في بغداد في ظروف مشبوهة، حيث تُنسب معظم المصادر وفاته إلى التسمم من قبل الحاكم العباسي المعتصم. يقع ضريحه في الكاظمية في العراق، ويُقدس من قبل المسلمين لمساهماته في الفقه الإسلامي ولشخصيته المتميزة

- Postponing repentance is an illusion, and long procrastination is perplexity.
- تأخِيرُ التَّوبةِ اغْتِرارٌ، وطُولُ التّسْويفِ حَيْرَةٌ
- Allah revealed to one of the prophets, “Your asceticism in this world hastens your comfort, and your devotion to Me endears you to Me. But did you oppose an enemy [of Mine] for My sake or did you befriend a friend for Me?
- أوْحى اللَّهُ إلى بعضِ الأنبياءِ: أمّا زُهدُكَ في الدُّنيا فَتُعَجِّلُكَ الرّاحَةَ، وأمّا انْقِطاعُكَ إلَيَّ فيُعَزّزُكَ بِي، ولكنْ هَل عادَيْتَ لي عَدُوّاً ووالَيْتَ لي وَليّاً؟
- It is sufficient for someone to be classified as a betrayer if he is the trustee of a disloyal person.
- كَفى بالمَرءِ خِيانَةً أنْ يكونَ أميناً للخَوَنَةِ.
- Meeting fellow brothers, even very briefly, causes the mind to broaden and develop.
- مُلاقاةُ الإخوانِ نُشْرَةٌ وتَلقيحُ العَقلِ، وإن كانَ نَزْراً قَليلاً
- Exposing something before it has become consolidated will ruin it.
- إظهارُ الشَّيءِ قبلَ أن يَستَحكِمَ مَفسَدَةٌ لَهُ
- Patience in the face of a misfortune is itself a misfortune for the one who gloats over your bad luck.
- الصَّبرُ عَلَى المُصيبَةِ، مُصيبَةٌ عَلَى الشامِتِ بها
- Whoever gives a speaker his full attention has indeed expressed a form of worship or adulation to him. If the speaker leads one to Allah through his words, then it is as if one worships Allah [by giving him attention], but if he leads one to Satan through his words, it is as if one worships Satan.
- مَن أصغى إلى ناطِقٍ فقَد عَبَدَهُ، فإن كانَ النّاطِقُ يُؤَدّي عَنِ اللَّهِ عَزَّوجلَّ فقَد عَبَدَ اللَّهَ، وإن كانَ النّاطِقُ يُؤَدّي عنِ الشَّيطانِ فقَد عَبَدَ الشَّيطانَ
- The best form of worship is sincerity.
- أفضَلُ العِبادَةِ الإخلاصُ
- He who conceals [the path] of proper conduct from you in making you follow that which you desire is indeed your enemy.
- قَد عاداكَ مَن سَتَرَ عَنكَ الرُّشدَ اتِّباعاً لِما تَهواهُ
- People who perform acts of courtesy towards others benefit more from them than the receptors of their kindness, for verily they have the reward for them, the [rewarding feeling of] pride for having helped someone as well as a mention. So however much good a man may do for others, it ultimately always starts by benefiting himself, and hence he never seeks thanks for the benefit incurred by himself through helping others.
- أهلُ المَعروفِ إلَى اصطِناعِه أحوَجُ مِن أهلِ الحاجَةِ إلَيهِ ؛ لأِنَّ لَهُم أجرَهُ وفَخرَهُ وذِكرَهُ، فمَهما اصطَنَعَ الرَّجُلُ مِن مَعروفٍ فإنَّما يَبدأ فيهِ بِنَفسِهِ، فلا يَطلُبَنَّ شُكرَ ما صَنَعَ إلى نَفسِهِ مِن غَيرِهِ
